Community Involvement
At Maple Leaf Self Storage, we value the communities that we serve and strive to maintain a high level of corporate responsibility. We work with many not-for-profit organizations, our Community Partners, in an effort to create positive change on a grass-roots level. Some of our Community Partners include:
Maple Leaf is conscious about what is happening to our environment and we are always looking for ways to ensure that we are contributing to a cleaner, greener earth. We have installed motion-controlled lighting in many of our hallways to conserve energy and are proud to have the only self storage facility in Western Canada with a “green roof”. Our West Vancouver facility’s “green roof” offsets carbon emissions, while filtering rainwater naturally before it enters the Capilano River. We have also introduced bio-degradable shopping bags and recycling programs at all of our facilities.
