Excellent facilities! Francis was very helpful and knowledgeable. Him and his staff were friendly and very accommodating to my needs. Would use this facility again for storage. Gates are all secured with a code so I felt like my items were safe in storage! Highly recommend!!!

Avoid doing busy with Maple Leaf Storage. The Richmond, B.C. location is where I had my experience.They think nothing of harassing clients and dishonouring contracts.Rates will increase with insufficient notice.What they do is both illegal and unreasonable. It will be a misery the entire time you are involved with them.

Storage facilities are all similar, so no wow factor.
Be aware that they fail to advertise that there are various additional costs when you go rent a storage unit. They are not transparent in that regard. I corresponded with them in assessing the cost and size options, and not once were the additional costs mentioned.

The place is secure and easy to navigate through. It’s centrally located and easy to get to. It’s pretty clean for a storage facility but I would not put my hands on anything in the elevators as they are in need of attention. I no longer have a unit there after over a decade renting out space. I was hit with four price increases within a two year period. Went from around $120/mo. for a small closet like storage unit to over $240/mo. Even received one of the increases by mail, after the stated date of increase on the letter had passed giving no time to respond to it. It coincided with what I’m guessing is new ownership taking over. I would be wary to rent here because of the increases and not knowing what your costs may be from month to month. I have adjusted my review and rating accordingly.

The unit had some cobwebs and didn’t seem like it was cleaned out recently. The employee couldn’t get their lock of the unit, kept getting lost trying to find my unit, needed to wait for the other employee working to be off the phone before we could continue. So lots of waiting around. The actual storage was fine, nothing was stolen. On my way out one of the employees made a rude comment to me which definitely makes me want to look elsewhere next time.

Very impressed with the speedy and friendly service at this location in Richmond from Henry and another gentleman, who works at the PNE location in Vancouver. They both responded very quickly and process was fast even when I forgot my code. We already have storage through our company at the Maple Leaf location on 2nd Ave in Vancouver and it's super clean and people are very helpful and friendly as well.

He was very patient with estimating the space we need by asking the type of furniture we have and whether constant access to items is required. A very thoughtful manager!
Facility wise, Maple Leaf is a great location with secured access and a spacious driveway outside of locker. We rented a locker on ground level and were glad that the locker space is slightly elevated and thus was not affected by any potential flooding. We were glad we chose Maple Leaf. Highly recommend Henry to help!

Every employee who helped me here at Mapleleaf was very friendly and efficient, with Henry being the best and the most responsible. Me and my family have multiple storage units and whenever we encounter difficulties, Henry can always solve our problems, showing upmost assurance and responsiveness. I’m happy that the company hired such qualified personnel with so much empathy, who is even willing to come to the office and assist me yesterday during BC day when I found out my existing unit can’t fit all my furnitures. Otherwise I would have to ask the movers to bring my stuff back home and reschedule.

Rental fees are reasonable. The first impression of my mind to the MLSS staff is great. The staff of MLSS is decent, pleasant, and helpful. It is glad that I can have Henry be our salesman. He is responsible for his clients, giving all the necessary information about the storage and a good deal with MLSS. The yard is always clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly and is there to help when you need it. The security at Maple Leaf is great and we haven’t had any issues what so ever. I highly recommnd Maple Leaf Storage on No. 4 Rd, Richmond.

I've been using Maple Leaf Storage, RICHMOND for over 20 years. This location is situated in a quiet area and easy access location. Their services has been improved quite a lot from time to time particularly in the last few years. They well keep the premises particularly clean & tidy. The store manager, Henry is very helpful and detail oriented in assisting their customers. You can always address him your concerns and needs and he can take care of you more than your expectations. I've referred a number of customers to use Maple Leaf Storage in Richmond and they're all very happy about their services. I certainly will continue referring my customers to use their services and even someone I don't know in Facebook which I've suggested in two months ago. Good job Henry!
