Great storage facility, very friendly staff and they are very flexible and patient. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and we felt like the place was very secure and well looked after. Access is easy and the hours are great. I would definitely recommend their facilities if you need to store your items.

Am having a great experience using Maple Leaf Storage. I am getting my flooring redone in my condo and needed space to store my belongings and some furniture so that the crew can do their work quickly. This location is just down the road from me so it's super easy to get to, and I am able to bring in stuff one car load at a time so that I could take my time packing and not have to hire movers.The facility is super clean and there's plenty of dollys to bring loads up to the locker easily.There is a gate to get into the facility which uses a unique code specific to you and the loading area is inside and covered so you dont have to worry about any of your belongings getting wet outside.Will definitely use this place again if I need storage in the future.

My business has been at this location for a few years now. This facility is really awesome. It’s clean, the loading spots are huge and I like how secure the building is. Most of all, Sherry, Samantha and the rest of the team are so friendly and extremely helpful when you need them. When we were on the hunt to rent a temporary storage locker for our belongings, we contacted the commercial drive location( after looking at 3 different facility locations in our area ) and were invited down for a tour of the facility.We met with Bill who was very knowledgeable about the building, locker sizes, pricing, building features, rules, etc. We were very impressed that this location was the only drive- in locker facility for the lower mainland which was a huge bonus as this meant our items would stay dry when moving into the building on rainy days ( we moved our belongings in the fall- you know Vancouver weather)!!Security was also impressive with the amount of cameras, motion sensors, etc- this building is like Fort Knocks. We liked that the building was also temperature controlled. The amount of dollies that were always available to move our belongings. The polite and always willing to help staff; the list goes on and on with positivity.We highly recommend this location forever more, you won’t be dissatisfied. We feel like we are leaving a family. The staff always had goodies for our kids when we visited the office and were always treated with tons of respect.At one point we downsized our locker, and it was a quick process. Billing was always easy. And our move out was just as smooth.Like I said we are sad to go, but forever greatful for the wonderful experience with maple leaf storage and staff. Your in great hands with this location

This location gets 5 stars for cleanliness, customer service and security. I liked that there is a full-time live-in security guard in the building. Good access to dollies and carts to unload and move larger items. I never saw any pests, and other clients seemed professional and courteous when passing in the halls.I took off a star because their hours are very limited. They don't open until 8:30 am, and they close at 8pm sharp, and anyone still inside after that gets locked in. That only left me with 1.5 open hours a day outside of my work schedule that I could possibly plan around. Not a lot of flexibility and it caused several complications and tough compromises. But I knew their hours when signing up, so there was no surprise there.The loading bays also have parking bollards blocking access to them, which is a pretty frustrating place to have them. The bay landing is about the same height as a U-Haul deck which would be super convenient except the bollards prevent you from getting close. You've still got to use the ramp on the truck and centre it between the bollards like a bridge. Standard enough, but it just feels like a misuse of space for client convenience and ease of lifting.But I do think their other qualities make them a solid recommendation for a storage unit facility!

This is a well kept secret! Such lovely staff and so well informed. The price for a 5x8 locker and lock is very affordable. I paid for three months and got 1 month for FREE, reducing my monthly fee! Also, if you refer anyone to Maple Leaf, they get a $25.00 reduction in their fee. THANKS MAPLE LEAF.

Great, friendly service. I've stored stuff with them for 2 years. When I moved from a big locker to a smaller one they credited me what I'd already pre-paid to the smaller, cheaper locker, saving me about $100. The place is really clean and the staff are helpful. They have some things like shring wrap, packing tape etc for sale in the lobby in case you need it.

We have rented storage facilities before in other cities but this Maple Leaf Storage operation is the best one we have ever experienced. The place is always clean and we frequently see cleaners going around picking up while we are there. There's an impressive security system in use and we have never seen anyone suspicious on the premises. There are always carts available and we have never had to wait more than 30 seconds for an elevator. The staff is helpful, friendly, and very professional. We have changed lockers three times now as our needs have grown, and each time the staff has been very helpful: showing us potential new spaces, explaining the cost differences, and helping us make the most economical choice for our needs. The only downside to this place is that it could be a little closer to our home. ;)As storage goes, in my experience, this place is as good as it gets.

This was the first time using any Storage Services and I was extremely pleased with the facilities and staff at Maple Leaf Self Storage. The location was easy to get to, access to my storage lockers was convenient, and I always felt secure coming in/out to get my items as I needed to. Before selecting this location, I visited a number of other competitors but none were as good as this location. The indoor covered space for loading/unloading cannot be underestimated. I would 100% use their services again in the future if I needed to and have no problems recommending it to anyone else as well.

Amazing space, I just moved to vancouver and the staff here were incredibly helpful in many ways. The facility is gorgeous, the level of security is very reassuring, the staff is so wonderful and there is free coffee and cookies in the lobby! Staff were amazing and friendly, very accommodatable. Only issue i had was finding access to unload. it was quite busy but people who were going into the storage parked in the loading dock and wasnt unloading. So we had to wait for spots. but other than that we got the moved done quickly.

This was the simplest process that I have ever encountered for getting a storage locker. Not only is the facility in Vancouver, well maintained and roomy halls to move your items from but they also have charming staff who are there to ensure you get the right locker for what your needs are. These folks run a great business, they know what is needed and anticipate any issues so that their systems take care of it automatically. Clean and dry, secure, and accommodating. During the check in process, there were some initial confusion on pricing agreement and discounts that should be handled better else the process would have been smooth. We run our business out of this facility, like many others. Our valuable goods are so well taken care of by this staff. I’m shopped around (across the street and down the road) and I’m SO GLAD I went with Maple Leaf!!! The facility is spotlessly clean. The staff is constantly cleaning and supervising people coming in and out. The entry and exit are secured with codes to avoid loiters and the place is under 24/7 watch. We are 10/10 happy and would 10/10 recommend this facility!

Have used many storage locations and 33 Commercial Drive is set up well with three elevators, lots of carts, and a covered loading area.
But the staff shine better than the building. Can't say enough on how I was treated and how I saw others being helped. The complete opposite of PS across the street.

My experience has been great!
When I first came to look for storage in February I met Bill. He explained everything about the facility, took me for a tour and discussed some issues regarding storage that I would never have thought of. Very professional, informative and kind. I considered myself very lucky to have met someone who really cares about the work he does. I looked no further. This was going to be where I would store my stuff.
I was not yet committed to selling my place yet, so I wasn't sure when to start storage. Bill said he would call in a little while to check in with me. True to his word he did. I called back and asked the person who answered the phone to let Bill know that I was no quite ready to sell yet and that I would come by and purchase storage when I knew I was going to sell.
That's what I did. I didn't see Bill, but Laurie was there. So I got to meet another wonderful person at Maple Leaf Storage. Laurie and I started to talk about storage. Bill came in so I was lucky enough to have them both there!
I'll wrap this up. I got a storage locker. I love your storage facility. It's kept in superb condition, wonderfully clean. I feel that my belongings are absolutely secure. I moved a couple of sentimental things in that I thought I would never be comfortable putting in storage. That's how confident I am in your facility.
People make the difference though. I may not have chosen Maple Leaf Storage if Bill hadn't taken the time to make me aware of all the strengths of this facility. Laurie is wonderful too. You have an impressive facility, but I was even more impressed with these two people!

The kind and helpful staff at the Commercial Drive location of MLSS are exceptional, which is a big part of what makes this location stand out. The building is clean and safe and nicely maintained, and works very well as a location for receiving and warehousing my business inventory. I have received container shipments here, and the secured parking area accommodates large shipments easily, ( just as well as personal storage needs.) I not only appreciate the sincerely friendly service, but also all the little extra services i get from these sweet ladies, ( not excluding Bill ;-) ...which I would certainly not expect from a storage facility. I am an especially long term customer at this location, and have actually been there longer than any of the current staff. I have used several different storage facilities around East Van over the years for my business needs, and have experienced many different issues, ranging from poor customer service and poor access, to lack of proper security features, to rodent infestations... MLSS on Commercial Drive is my #1 pick of the many storage facility options out there, 5 stars to this location in particular!

I've used my unit as a seasonal storage area for my sports equipment, wardrobe, automotive and camping stuff. It's been like an effective basement for me . I've been there a long time and it's secure and without bothersome pests like bugs and vermin. I'd like it to be open an hour later -until 9pm.
The place is generally clean including the washrooms.
The car entrance could be improved. The entrance keypad is not ideally located for me. The keypad is always in a big puddle when it rains. As I have to get out of my car to enter the code I'm standing in quite a deep puddle especially if it's been raining in Vancouver for days - like in winter.

I picked this company and location because of how professional they are compared to other self storage places. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. The building itself is concrete and all lockers are metal. The building is climate controlled, clean and very secure. Given the location, being clean and secure is very impressive and appreciated! Another bonus is that insurance is not really necessary, since the building is so secure and never burnin down, so you can save a tonne there. I left a lot of belongings and family heirlooms there while in New Zealand for 18months and when I returned it was exactly as I left it, with no signs of pests or moisture etc. I'd highly recommend this place, you get what you pay for! Would give it more stars if I could!

We had an excellent experience with Maple Leaf Storage. The staff was extremely friendly and resourceful. The facility was secure and spotlessly clean. The location was convenient as well, with parking always available. We highly recommend storage at this facility.

I have been a long time customer here. (7+ years) And the whole experience has been a great one. Bill & the whole crew are simply great people. Top notch facility... top notch service... these guys really know what they're doing. After this many years, I can't this about a whole lot of other businesses, but I'm happy to let others know when something is really worth knowing about - and this Maple Leaf SS location certainly is. The Maple Leaf Self Storage Team a Commercial have always been very helpful and professional. Quickly providing an additional storage unit, close to my existing one, when we underestimated our capacity requirements.

Our company has had a storage unit at this location for years. Great staff, clean facility, large elevators, large loading area.... this place has it all. You get what you pay for based on size. No security issues with out unit to date (knock on wood). So we are very satisfied customers and will continue doing business with this facility.

The facility is always clean and brightly lit no matter what time of the day or evening you arrive. They are always willing to help you, assist you if you have a problem with your door or lock and they are so pleasant and easy to deal with. It is a pleasure to come there and know that my belongings are well taken care of. They even telephoned me to tell me I had left my lock not fully secured. Their security is first rate.
