My wife and I stored items for several months during a move of house. The experience was great. The facility was clean and tidy everywhere, including the halls and washrooms. There were no line-ups at the access doors regardless of when we visited. Security seemed fine. Moving carts were always available. Office staff were courteous and efficient, and remembered our names each time we spoke with them. Interactions with other customers who were storing or removing items were always pleasant. We recommend Maple Leaf Storage - West Vancouver to everyone.

I have been using the services of Maple Leaf Storage at 250 Taylor Way for the past five+ years. Chris and his team are friendly and courteous and are there to meet your needs.
The facility is well-organized, bright and spotlessly clean. The dollies provided make it easy to move your belongings in and out of storage and it is easy to back your car to the overhead doors to load/unload your belongings.
As my belongings were reduced, Chris was very accommodating allowing me to use a smaller locker.
I also appreciate that I have been dealing with Chris for the 5+ years. I appreciate the continuity. Thank you, Chris.

For 15 years, even if I moved from West Van to downtown I continued using this facility, slowly downsizing to different size lockers, from the biggest ones to the last, a small one.
I always found the previous managers, a couple, very kind and professional, and the same lately with Chris Wasney, very friendly and helpful.

The place is spotless, quiet, and very obvious security; you have to key in and out and even in the lift so there is no way any unauthorized person gets in. We used several sizes of lockers during our 2 year use of the lockers; both were great. Overall we were delighted with the experience.

Although we have arranged to begin our storage on a specific date, the movers had to reschedule a day earlier. We called and were informed that it was okay and they will be able to accommodate us.

The layout is easy to navigate, the facilities are clean and there are plenty of carts to borrow. The security system is very good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that made me uncomfortable about using the facility is the fact that not all customers wear masks inside; mask wearing should be checked and enforced for everyone's safety.

Chris and his team have always been so accommodating over the past years that I've had a corporate storage unit. The location is very clean, at a very nice temperature, secure and it's always easy to get my car into the loading dock.

Chris and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful right from the first phone call to enquire about the facility. Since it was only a month old everything is still very clean and not all banged up. Being able to load and unload right inside the facility is a huge plus in our rainy and sometimes cold climate. The security that controls locker entry and the codes required for entry to and exit from the facility is excellent. It is the best storage facility we have ever used and have told many friends and family and our Realtors about it.

Feedback on Maple Leaf Storage, Park Royal North Vancouver
I am very pleased to provide positive feedback on my experience with Maple Leaf Storage on North Vancouver, Park Royal. I am sure there are storage stories that could fill volumes. My story began in Ottawa after the sale of my home on my journey West to begin a new life in British Columbia on the birth of my first grandson. The trajectory was not a straight line. In 2015, I had filled a large POD in Ottawa and there it stood without my being able to downsize my belongings. There was an emotional block for sure. In November 17, 2018 the POD was moved to Maple Leaf Storage West Vancouver. Chris Wasney the store manager, was amazing on explaining where the POD could be dropped off and making sure that my son and I had enough time in the space to unload. I thought this would be a huge problem but Chris accommodated us. My son was equally emotional seeing his childhood and past life in bins and the gigantic task ahead to go through sorting out what stays and what goes. My grandsons have my sons Legos one of the many treasures packed away and are now Lego obsessed. Treasures were brought out for them over the years and often asked if there are more toys in the locker. After the sale of my home there was enough time to organize. I appreciated connecting with Chris and the staff on these visits. It took away the angst. He understood having seeing all manners of situations. The onsite support was very important. Then came COVID-19 and time to tackle the bins. No excuses. It was dramatic to give notice as there was a sense of security having this space tied to my past. Again, Chris made it easier saying that I could downsize to s smaller space if I don’t get everything out by the deadline. It made it easier. But it was time and I was able to finally go through over 60 years of memories and integrate them into my new life as well as letting go what was not needed to move forward. As to the Maple Leaf Storage facility – it is clean and in particular the washrooms that I appreciated on long visits, the hours to access where very reasonable, you can purchase extra boxes etc. on site, it is conveniently located in the neighbourhood making even short visits doable as well as for arranging pick-ups of items that needed to move on, parking was never an issue, there were a variety of trollies for all sorts of moves in and out, the entry was secure and elevators were spacious for larger items.

So I am happy with my experience, except Early on decided to reserve a locker at the new capilano location because it was going to be ready in just a couple of weeks. This was several months ago. One month ago I couldn't carry with stuff piling up so I rented a small locker at the Taylor way location. Now I understand the the capilano location will be ready soon (again). I thought I could move in immediately when ready and credit the portion of monthly rent not used from the small locker when I transferred over. This I was told wouldn't happen because they are separate entities. Anyway, this isn't a good or smart business practice. The people I worked with were nice and I like the facility, but I was misled (maybe unknowingly) about when the capilano location would be ready. I accept this, but but double dipping from me because of something not in my control really needs to be addressed. Thanks Al Carriveau

We had a sudden need for storage when the Corona virus caused the shut down of our office. We got a right-sized unit on short notice and had our office desks and filing cabinets stored safe and dry, with access anytime for the things we realized the need for during the 3 months. I was a customer at the 250 Taylor Way location in West Vancouver almost since it opened 15 years ago. I have always found the facility to be clean, quiet and accessible whenever I needed to get in. Parking was always available and with the three bays, I never had to wait to get in. Most recently, my interactions with the store manager, Chris Wasney, and one of his employees, John were great.
If I was ever again in need for storage space, I would immediately head back to the Taylor Way location to see if they could accommodate me once again!

Storage, conjures up cold dark lockers, to be avoided if possible. Then I found Maple Leaf Storage in West Vancouver. I was given a tour with no pressure at all. I purchased packing materials and returned a week later and booked my stuff in! Chris is the Manager, and I believe lives on site. The facility is bright, warm and even welcoming. I don’t usually write reviews, but I do want to say a big thank you for taking care of my ‘stuff’ and making moving out of a home of 42 years more bearable. Chris is a gem, and I almost miss no longer having a locker. I highly recommend Maple Leaf Storage, West Vancouver to anybody who is in need of secure, warm space, with a tremendous staff, even coffee and candies. Thanks to Chris and his assistant John.

I have been & continue to be a very satisfied tenant of the Maple Leaf Storage facility at 250 Taylor Way, West Vancouver since 2011. During that time I have had occasion to lease various unit sizes and have found staff to be very pleasant to deal with and most helpful in accommodating my needs. The facility is well maintained with clean public areas.

I liked the security. Whether or not it actually works the way it says it does, it made me feel someone has thought it through well. The left elevator needs to be fixed, it goes "crash" as it goes by 2nd floor. The bathrooms came in handy often. Parking was easy and people mostly did not hog the bays (but sometimes did, like panel van doing his notes in the cab, hogging)

Maple Leaf Self Storage in West Van is excellent in every way and I rank them 10 out of 10. I have been a customer for 4 years, and highly recommend this facility. The storage units are clean, well ventilated, with good lighting and security. The elevators are large and all their dollys are easy to handle. The parking is spacious, bathrooms immaculate, prices competitive and they even serve coffee.
But what makes this facility so great is the service, under the leadership of Chris Wasney, the store manager, and Todd Wright, the assistant manager. The staff is polite, gracious, helpful and very efficient. The staff members remember your name, help with payments, logistics for parking moving trucks, and offer support in a proactive and effective manner. Even their moving boxes are of high quality and well designed.
Overall, this is the best storage facility I have even encountered. Do yourself a favour and use this Maple Leaf Storage team in West Van. They’ll make you smile!

The transition from moving my POD which had been in Ottawa for the last 3 years to storing my possessions with Maple Leaf was seamless. The staff patiently guided me through the size of unit I may need as well as planning the arrival/delivery. The were entirely flexible on the unit that may be needed (depending on availability). I was back and forth a number of times as with possible delivery dates before finalizing the move, and they accommodated me all through the process and removed the stress. The staff are friendly and supportive. My "stuff" is now thankfully closer for me to do the declutter in a facility that lends itself to good organization.
